About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for the Lamoille Canyon Pavement Project on the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The project involves milling and replacing pavement and has an estimated value between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The amendment provides answers to questions from potential offerors, updates the performance and payment bond requirements, and extends the period of performance from July 1, 2020 to July 1, 2021. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of the amendment by one of the specified methods prior to the solicitation response deadline.
The amendment documents a conference call where questions from potential offerors were addressed, provides the attendance roster, and answers questions about how milling and replacing will be done, how much the Forest Service anticipates spending on the project, and if proposals can be emailed. It also updates the FAR clause on performance and payment bonds to no longer require a seal when executing the standard forms. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

A: Milling will be done on site and an in house crew will be placing.
Q: How much is the Forest Service anticipating to spend on this project?
A: The Government Estimate cannot be disclosed;
however, in accordance with FAR 36.204 the magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and
