About this file

This is a minimum insurance requirements document from Broward County's Parks and Recreation Division for a Liquid Carbon Dioxide project. The document establishes mandatory insurance coverage standards that contractors must maintain, with Broward County designated as the certificate holder at 115 South Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301. The project involves liquid carbon dioxide services, though specific quantities, response dates, contract terms, and award timelines are not specified in this insurance requirements document.

The insurance requirements mandate comprehensive coverage including General Liability with $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate limits, Auto Liability at $1,000,000 combined coverage, Worker's Compensation at statutory limits, and Employer's Liability at $1,000,000 per accident. Broward County must be named as additional insured for liability coverage, with the contractor's insurance providing primary coverage without requiring contribution from the County. The contractor must maintain waiver of subrogation in favor of Broward County, and for claims-made policies, insurance must be maintained with evidence provided for at least three years after contract completion. Maximum deductibles are capped at $25,000 for pollution/environmental liability, $10,000 for general coverage, and 5% of completed value for wind and flood coverage.
