About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 issued by the Indian River County Procurement Division for Bid Number 2025056, a project for the Replacement of (4) Sodium Hypochlorite Storage Tanks. The bid is scheduled to open on August 1, 2025, and the addendum modifies the original bid documents by updating the scope of work and addressing a contractor's specific tank specification request. The project involves furnishing and installing three (3) 6,500-gallon and one (1) 5,250-gallon double-walled, HDLPE tanks for sodium hypochlorite service, with strict manufacturing requirements limited to Snyder, Assmann, or Poly Processing.
Bidders must possess specific licenses including GDC/General Contractor, PCC/Pollutant Contractor, or CFC/Plumber, and must be registered with the Indian River County Building Division prior to award. The contractor will be responsible for installing new Schedule 80 PVC fill lines, piping to existing chemical feed equipment, transferring the existing ultrasonic level sensor, reusing the existing ladder, and supplying new ladder brackets. Additionally, the contractor will be required to dispose of the tanks after they are removed from service. The addendum notes that a revised scope document has been uploaded under supporting documentation for further detailed specifications.
