About this file

This document is an Attachment E - Certified Disadvantaged Business Outreach Plan for an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the State of Oregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Procurement Services for the procurement of 30 Iridium GPS collars to be used for wildlife research of Black Tailed Deer throughout Western Oregon forests. The contract will require the purchase and delivery of the GPS radio-transmitter collars and related services. The adult collars must have programmable break-off links to detach from the deer. The procurement opportunity involves the jurisdictions of Jackson County and Cedar Mill CDP.

The document outlines the requirements for bidders to demonstrate that certified minority-owned, woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, and emerging small businesses have been provided equal opportunity to participate in the performance of any subcontracts resulting from this procurement. Bidders must indicate if they are an Oregon certified firm, provide a list of certified firms they have had contractual relationships with in the past two years, and describe the steps they will take to solicit certified firms for subcontracting opportunities if awarded the contract.
