About this file

This document is a detailed generator set data sheet from Cummins Power Generation for the DQDAA model diesel generator. The data sheet provides comprehensive technical specifications for a 250 kW standby (225 kW prime) generator set powered by a Cummins QSL9-G7 engine, designed to meet EPA NSPS Stationary Emergency Tier 3 emissions standards. The generator is configured with a cast iron, in-line 6-cylinder engine, turbocharged with charge air cooling, operating at 1800 rpm, and includes specifications for fuel consumption, engine performance, cooling systems, exhaust characteristics, and alternator data across various voltage ranges and temperature conditions.

The generator set offers flexibility with standard and optional cooling configurations, including non-seismic and seismic-rated radiator cooling options, and potential remote radiator cooling configurations. The document details derating factors for altitude and temperature, and provides ratings definitions for emergency standby power, limited-time running power, prime power, and base load continuous power. Weight specifications indicate a dry weight of 2,184 kg (4,814 lbs) and a wet weight of 2,234 kg (4,926 lbs). The alternator data includes surge kW, motor starting kVA, and full load current ratings for various voltage configurations, with a note that single-phase power can be drawn up to 40% of the generator set's nameplate kW rating at unity power factor.
