About this file

This document is a series of Questions and Answers (Q&A) for a federal solicitation for janitorial/cleaning services across four Texas county locations (Hidalgo, Starr, Zapata, and Del Rio). The contract involves weekly cleaning services for offices totaling approximately 6,700 square feet with tile flooring, and includes details such as number of occupants per office (ranging from 9-15), dispenser types (trifold hand towel and toilet paper), and estimated performance start date of 9/30/2025. The annual contract value is approximately $22,000, with no current incumbent contractor, and originally consisted of four separate contracts, one for each location.

Key solicitation requirements include submitting a four-page maximum response containing executive summary, capabilities, past performance, and certifications, along with three completed Past Performance Questionnaires. The contract requires identifying key personnel including a Management/Supervisor and Cleaning Personnel, with wage determination applicable to each separate county. Supplies will be managed to last between weekly service visits, and the government will provide information on facility details, square footage, and occupancy to assist potential contractors in preparing their proposals.
