Statement of Work Attachment 1 Gibb Wash Bridge Replacement
Coronado National Forest
1.0 Scope of Work
Bridge replacement work consists of the removal of an existing 24’ long, single-lane timber bridge and the installation of a 28’-1” span, 9’-6” rise, and 28’ long steel structural plate arch with welded wire headwalls. Additional work includes embankment construction with mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) wall, realignment of 550 feet of approach road, installation of a 24” diameter CMP culvert, installation of guardrails, reconstruction of stream channel, and obliteration of the existing approach road.
2.0 Background

National Forest System Road (NFSR) 38, also known as Control Road, on the Santa Catalina
Ranger District, Coronado National Forest, Pinal County, AZ, Township 11S, Section 15, Range
