About this file

The document contains detailed application instructions for applying an adhesive product or material to a surface. The eight-step process provides comprehensive guidance for proper installation, emphasizing critical steps such as ensuring a clean and dry surface, carefully peeling backing paper, applying the adhesive side, and removing air pockets through systematic squeegeeing techniques. The instructions specify using short, firm, overlapping strokes when applying the material, working from the center to the edges.

Key technical details include a recommended application temperature of above 40° F and explicit warnings about handling the adhesive. The instructions stress the importance of proper technique, such as re-squeegeeing all edges to ensure proper adhesion and avoiding direct contact with the adhesive after removing the backing paper. While the document does not provide context about the specific product or its intended use, the instructions suggest a professional-grade application process for an adhesive material that requires precise installation to achieve optimal performance.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Surface on which application is to be made must be clean and dry.

2. Peel off one section of backing paper.

3. Apply adhesive side to the surface.

4. Remove all air-pockets from beneath that part which has been applied by squeegeeing carefully from center to edges.

5. Apply remainder by slowly pulling backing paper from underneath, while at the same time squeegeeing in the same direction the backing paper is being pulled. Use short, firm, overlapping squee-geeing strokes and work from center to edges.

6. Re-squeegee all edges to insure proper adhesion.

7. For best results, application should be made at temperatures above 40° F.

8. Don’t touch adhesive after backing paper has been removed.
