About this file

This is a Request for Preference Form document issued by the Incorporated County of Los Alamos, New Mexico, in connection with a competitive solicitation for Senior Services operations. The County seeks qualified firms to operate two Senior Citizen Centers—one in Los Alamos and one in White Rock—and provide comprehensive home-based services for older and frail adults. The scope of services includes congregate and home-delivered meals, transportation services, educational and social programs, entertainment, volunteer opportunities, adult day care, respite care, home-based care, and care coordination. The form establishes evaluation criteria and preference considerations for proposals submitted in response to the Senior Services solicitation.

The Request for Preference Form outlines the County's methodology for applying local business preferences and other evaluation factors to the competitive process. This document serves as a guide for bidders regarding how their proposals will be assessed relative to preference criteria established by the County, which may include considerations for local vendors, small businesses, or other policy objectives. The form provides transparency regarding the weighted evaluation factors that will influence award decisions and helps ensure equitable treatment of all proposers throughout the selection process.
