About this file

This document is a PWC100 and DSA Box Upload Information Form from the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) related to Senate Bill 854, which established a new public works contractor registration program. The form requires all contractors and subcontractors intending to bid or perform work on public works projects to register online and renew their registration annually. Contractors must fulfill four key responsibilities: register as a public works contractor, pay prevailing wages, follow apprenticeship requirements, and maintain and submit certified payroll records to the DIR.

The registration process allows contractors to register for one, two, or three fiscal years at fees of $400, $800, or $1,200 respectively. The form provides a comprehensive checklist of construction trade classifications, including roles such as electricians, carpenters, plumbers, and many others. Contractors must provide detailed company information, including CSLB license number, DIR number, contact details, and specify their trade classifications. Additionally, the form includes a section for Division of the State Architect (DSA) box upload information, emphasizing the documentation and compliance requirements for public works contractors in California.
