About this file

This is a Minimum Insurance Requirements document for the Aerial Mosquito Adulticide Application Services contract issued by Broward County's Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division in Florida. The contract covers aerial mosquito adulticide application services for the Highway & Bridge Maintenance Division and various other Broward County agencies on an open-end basis. The solicitation requires vendors to submit responses electronically through BPRO by specified closing dates and times, with all questions and clarifications to be submitted through BPRO during the designated questions period. The contract does not specify particular response or award dates within this insurance requirements document.

The insurance requirements establish comprehensive coverage mandates for the service provider, including General Liability with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, Auto Liability at $500,000 combined bodily injury and property damage, Aircraft Liability at $2,000,000 for bodily injury and property damage, Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, Employers' Liability at $500,000 per accident, Pollution Liability/Environmental Impairment Liability at $1,000,000 per claim with a maximum $10,000 deductible, and Professional Liability with a maximum $100,000 deductible. Broward County must be named as additional insured with primary coverage, a waiver of subrogation in the County's favor, and 30 days' written notice of cancellation required (10 days for non-payment). For Claims-Made policies, coverage and evidence of insurance must be maintained for at least three years after contract completion.
