About this file

This is an Award Memo from the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services announcing the intent to award a contract for Request for Quotes (RFQ) AM27-113 Wood West II Herbicide, conducted by the Division of Wildlife Resources. The solicitation sought quotes from responsive and responsible vendors to provide multispectral survey services for 1,200 acres and aerial herbicide application for up to 800 acres in Iron County, Utah. Evaluation of quotes was based on objective criteria outlined in the RFQ, with the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor selected for award. Vendors are required to submit a single primary bid, with multiple or alternate bids not accepted. The awarded vendor must not commence work, purchase materials, or enter into subcontracts until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services execute the contract or issue a purchase order.

The award notification does not constitute a contract; only execution of a purchase order or signed contract between the awarded vendor and the Division of Purchasing and General Services creates a binding agreement. Award recipients will be contacted via phone or email regarding next steps. Vendors have seven days from issuance of this notice to submit any written protests of the award decision to the Procurement Officer, which must clearly identify the solicitation and detail the nature of the protest. The State reserved the right to solicit additional quotes via email, phone, or other methods permitted under the Utah Procurement Code or applicable Administrative Rules.
