About this file

This document is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form from the Elk Grove Unified School District for Request for Proposal (RFP) #812-25/26, issued by the California Department of Education's School Nutrition Programs Unit in April 1998. The RFP specifically concerns refrigerated trucks and is designed to ensure compliance with federal lobbying disclosure requirements for child nutrition entities receiving federal reimbursement over $100,000 annually.

The form requires detailed certification that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence federal officials, members of Congress, or their employees in connection with awarding federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements. If any non-federal funds are used for lobbying purposes, the entity must complete a Standard Form-LLL "Disclosure Form to Report Lobbying." The document outlines potential civil penalties of $10,000 to $100,000 for failure to file the required certification, and mandates that the certification language be included in all subaward documents exceeding $100,000 in federal funds.
