About this file
This Request for Proposal (RFP) document pertains to a construction project for Venture Academy located at 508 N 1500 W, Marriott-Slaterville, Utah 84404. The project encompasses two primary components: the construction of a new pre-engineered metal building gymnasium and the remodeling of a portion of the existing gymnasium to create two new classrooms. The new gym addition will consist of approximately 14,000 square feet, featuring a full-size regulation basketball court, 6-8 rows of retractable bleachers, an entry vestibule, three restrooms, a custodial closet, and three large storage rooms. The existing gym remodel will convert a 33' x 55' area on the south end into two vertically stacked classrooms with access via existing upper-level walkways and elevator, along with a new exterior egress stair on the west side. The remaining northern portion of the existing gym (approximately 60' x 55') will remain operational as auxiliary gym space. The project is scheduled to reach substantial completion by August 2027, with new gym construction beginning while school is in session and interior classroom remodeling commencing around May 2027.
The RFP document does not specify explicit pricing terms, bid due dates, site visit requirements, pre-bid meetings, or award dates within the available information. No information regarding set-asides, incumbent contractors, or specific funding sources and amounts is detailed in this summary. Bidders should consult the complete RFP document for comprehensive details regarding evaluation criteria, technical specifications, bonding requirements, insurance provisions, scheduling constraints related to the active school environment, and any other terms and conditions necessary for proposal preparation and submission.
