About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Debris Removal services in Carter County, Tennessee. The main changes include an adjusted bid due date of October 18th at 10:00 AM EST, clarification that the majority of debris is located in the central and southwest areas of the county, identification of the Carter County/Elizabethton Landfill as the final disposal site with waived tipping fees, confirmation that no bonds are required per FEMA, and a change from "cut and place" to "cut and haul" for tree removal. Additionally, the RFP seeks clarification on the removal methods and separate line items for land-based versus marine-based vehicle and debris removal operations.

The original RFP was issued following a disaster that warranted outside assistance, with the debris removal services being for FEMA "Category A" only. No other pricing terms, set asides, incumbent information, or funding details are provided in this Addendum.
