About this file
This document is a solicitation for bid (Bid No. 25-0095-3) from Chatham County, Georgia, requesting the purchase and installation of three compressor systems, four fill station systems, and sixteen 6000 PSI UN storage cylinders for the Chatham County Fire Department. The equipment will be deployed across three locations: Fire Station 1, Fire Station 2, and the Fire Training Center, supporting fire station operations and training needs. The bid requires all equipment to be new, compliant with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, and will include delivery, installation, labor, materials, and tools. Bidders must submit documentation proving equipment compliance and are instructed to direct all questions through the County's procurement portal.
The bid will be awarded based on the lowest unit price and potentially contingent on delivery timeframe. Pricing is to be submitted as a lump-sum and must include an itemized pricing sheet for each unit and its components. The equipment specifications are detailed, requiring USA-made 4-stage reciprocating compressors with specific technical requirements including 6000 PSI maximum working pressure, 14 CFM minimum charge rate, and comprehensive safety and monitoring features. The contract includes a minimum five-year or 1000-hour warranty covering parts and labor, and requires complete installation and on-site testing of all systems upon delivery.
