About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details architectural and engineering (A/E) design services for repairing Building 1212 Air Freight Terminal at Dover Air Force Base. The project requires a 35% design phase with a 120-day period of performance, focusing on comprehensive facility improvements including bird netting installation, fire alarm replacement, electrical upgrades to LED lighting, HVAC system repairs, plumbing updates, structural roof and door repairs, pavement replacement, and interior insulation assessment.
Key deliverables include multiple design submittal stages (design charrette, 10% design, 35% design) with specific documentation requirements such as design analysis, specifications, drawings, basis of design, and preliminary cost estimates. The project has strict security protocols, requiring contractor badge policies, criminal background investigations, and compliance with Force Protection Condition (FPCON) guidelines. The design must adhere to Air Force Whole Building Design Guide, Dover Air Force Base Installation Facilities Standards, and standard specifications, with a total contract value not specified in the document.
