About this file
This document is an Evaluation Criteria / Evaluator Scoresheet for a University's Request for Proposal (RFP) for real estate property sales services. The RFP outlines a comprehensive scoring process for selecting a vendor to list and sell a property, with evaluators assessing proposals across five key criteria: Overall Proposal Response & Organization (25 points), Minimum Requirements (20 points), Marketing Strategy & Sales Approach (35 points), Commission & Fees (10 points), and References & Past Performances (10 points). An additional 50 points may be allocated for interviews with top-scoring vendors if deemed necessary.
The scoring methodology emphasizes a holistic evaluation approach, with cost being important but not the sole determining factor. Proposals must meet specific expectations including thorough marketing plans, clear commission structures, and demonstrated experience selling similar properties. Evaluators are bound by strict guidelines, including maintaining confidentiality and avoiding conflicts of interest. The RFP indicates that proposals must be within the University's expectations, with potential disqualification for fees outside the stated range. The committee retains the flexibility to request interviews or additional clarification to finalize vendor selection.
