About this file
This document is a Janitorial Service Specification for the City of Burleson, Texas, inviting qualified contractors to submit informal proposals for cleaning and janitorial services for city-owned buildings. The project encompasses daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cleaning services for 13 facilities, including City Hall, Police Department, Fire Stations, Library, and other municipal buildings, with varying service frequencies ranging from 1 to 7 days per week. The contract will begin October 1 and follows a phased approach contingent upon vendor performance, with the city's goal of establishing a multi-year agreement that allows for a smooth onboarding process.
The specification outlines three distinct service levels (Level 1, 2, and 3) with detailed cleaning requirements, and mandates that contractors provide all cleaning supplies, maintain personnel files, comply with MSDS requirements, and carry specific insurance coverage (Workers Compensation of $100,000 and General Liability of $1,000,000). Contractors must certify that janitorial personnel are drug-free and CJIS certified where applicable, with most work performed during overnight and weekend hours, except for sensitive locations requiring daytime cleaning. While specific pricing per facility is not comprehensively detailed, the document indicates that pricing will be submitted on a per-month basis with variations based on square footage and service level complexity.
