About this file
This is a Drug-Free Workplace Certification Form required by the Hillsborough County Procurement Services Department for a competitive sealed bid opportunity in Florida related to purchasing card expense, invoice, and compliance monitoring services. The form serves as a compliance requirement for vendors bidding on the contract to provide monthly independent audits of purchasing card transactions and declined transactions for Hillsborough County. The estimated project budget is $55,548.72. The vendor must certify compliance with Florida Statute 287.087 by completing and signing the form prior to bid submission.
The Drug-Free Workplace Certification requires the vendor to implement six key requirements: publish a workplace drug prohibition statement to employees, inform employees about drug abuse dangers and company policy, distribute the statement to all employees engaged in providing the commodities or services under bid, notify employees that compliance with the drug-free workplace terms is a condition of employment on the contract, impose sanctions or require participation in drug rehabilitation programs for employees convicted of drug violations, and maintain good faith effort to sustain a drug-free workplace. The authorized company representative must sign and date the form certifying full compliance with all requirements. This certification is a mandatory prerequisite for bid consideration and does not constitute a separate deliverable but rather a qualifying condition for participation in the procurement process.
