About this file
This is a proposal checklist document for the S/GWI Women for PEACE grant opportunity (DFOP0017088) from the Department of State's Office of Global Women's Issues. The checklist outlines required documentation for a complete proposal package, which includes a project narrative (containing cover page, table of contents, budget details, monitoring and evaluation plan, implementation timeline, risk analysis, gender analysis, and key personnel), and supporting materials such as SF-424 forms and recent financial statements.
Additional requirements vary based on organizational status: organizations working in Burma must submit a Due Diligence Assessment; those with prior U.S. Government funding must provide a five-year list of previous awards; organizations without prior U.S. Government funding must submit Articles of Incorporation and bylaws; and U.S. registered organizations must include their NICRA if requesting an indirect cost rate above 10%. Optional appendices may include staff CVs, annual reports, board member lists, and organizational charts. The funding opportunity supports women's participation in conflict mediation and negotiation processes through the Women for PEACE program, administered as a cooperative agreement to 501(c)(3) nonprofits.
