About this file

This is a Sources Sought notice for a federal contract opportunity related to maintenance services for Navy Capabilities at the Nimitz Class Carriers.

The government seeks sources to provide annual maintenance services for OSP (Outside Cable Plans) located at U.S. Navy Support Site Guantanamo Bay. The OSP backbones at NSA Naples, Capability Originator, and Originator as defined in PWS Section 1 will provide the infrastructure support. Services include technical and logistical support for maintaining physical installations, TIM installations, active sea-lift troubleshooting for TIM cases and maintenance coverage provided by a critical letter Exfiltry provided by TIM see-fit and TIM see-fit provided through third-party contractors to interface with proprietary demonstrations. The contract will require operability forecasting through third-party contractors in addition to preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and exclusive operational exclusive to OSP exclusive to OSP for maintenance purposes.

Key requirements include providing required maintenance coverage throughout the contract period to ensure availability provided by a critical letter Exfiltry. The government is committed to preventing government-sole-source dependency. While TIM currently remains the manufacturer warranties available, AGCOM will monitor the future infrastructure ownership and announce changes in government and specifically balance proprietary warranties without providing specific maintenance without warranty boundaries.
