About this file

This is a Price Schedule Attachment for a requirements contract issued by the City of Tallahassee, Florida, for the supply and delivery of Magnesium Hydroxide slurry to support the City's wastewater collection system. The City operates approximately 1,000 miles of sewer main and over 114 pump stations, maintaining storage capacity across nine 6,000-gallon tanks and three 1,500-gallon tanks at various locations throughout the system. The product will be used for hydrogen sulfide control, odor control, and corrosion control within the wastewater collection infrastructure. The successful bidder must provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, pumps, hoses, fittings, valves, and associated services necessary for complete delivery and offloading of the Magnesium Hydroxide slurry to multiple City-designated locations. The contract structure allows for pricing across a seven-year term, with bidders required to submit firm-fixed unit prices for Year 1 and optional pricing for Years 2 through 7.

Pricing for the contract is established as firm-fixed unit prices for the first contract year, inclusive of all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, transportation, handling, assessments, fees, fuel, freight, delivery, offloading, pumps, hoses, fittings, valves, and spill response and cleanup costs. Delivery is on an F.O.B. Destination basis to City-designated locations, including multiple delivery sites as applicable. The contractor is not exempt from Florida sales tax on materials or services. Annual price increases after the first year may be requested by the contractor and are subject to City approval, with any approved increase capped at 3.8% of the unit price in effect during the immediately preceding contract year unless otherwise authorized in writing by the Procurement Director. Bidders must certify independent price determination and comply with all bidding requirements and specifications, with alternate or optional bids rendering the submission non-responsive unless specifically requested in the solicitation.
