About this file
The document is an Anti-Human Trafficking Affidavit for Broward County, Florida, specifically related to a contract opportunity for remanufactured, repaired, and rebuilt bus transmissions for the Broward County Transportation Department. This open-end contract allows for the purchase of transmission services and products for the transportation department and potentially other Broward County agencies. The solicitation requires electronic submission through BPRO (Bonfire procurement platform) by a specified closing date, with vendors responsible for ensuring timely and correct submission. Vendors are instructed to submit questions through the BPRO platform and can seek technical assistance from support@gobonfire.com if experiencing submission difficulties.
The contract appears to be federally funded (FTA requirements noted) and does not have specific small business or economic development set-asides for this solicitation. Vendors must complete the anti-human trafficking affidavit, which affirms they do not use coerced labor as defined under Florida Statute 787.06. The affidavit must be submitted either with the initial vendor submittal or within three business days of the county's request, with potential non-responsiveness implications for failure to comply. The form requires vendor details including name, signature, printed name, title, and date, and is dated for potential use in September 2024.
