About this file

This is an Anti-Human Trafficking Affidavit document related to Broward County, Florida's open-end contract solicitation for walk-through metal detector preventive maintenance and repair services. The affidavit is a compliance certification document required as part of the vendor submittal process for this Facilities Management Division contract, which serves various Broward County agencies requiring maintenance and repair services for walk-through metal detectors. Vendors must submit all solicitation responses electronically through the BPRO platform and are required to receive a submission receipt to confirm timely delivery by the closing date and time specified in the solicitation. The contract includes procurement preference opportunities for Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) and County Business Enterprises (CBEs) as administered by the Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD).

The Anti-Human Trafficking Affidavit serves as a mandatory certification requirement whereby vendors attest to compliance with state and federal anti-human trafficking laws and regulations. Vendors are required to submit this affidavit along with all other requested documentation to be considered for contract award. The document functions as part of the County's compliance verification process to ensure all contractors meet applicable legal and ethical standards prior to contract execution.
