About this file
This is an Anti-Human Trafficking Affidavit form required by Broward County, Florida for vendors participating in the Broward County Transit Temporary Personnel Services contract opportunity. The affidavit serves as a compliance document affirming that the vendor does not use coercion for labor or services as defined under Section 787.06, Florida Statutes. Vendors must submit the completed and signed form with their initial solicitation response or within three business days of the County's request. Failure to submit the affidavit within the specified timeframe may result in the vendor being deemed nonresponsive. The form requires the vendor to provide their company name, authorized signatory's signature and printed name, signatory's title, and submission date. Upon award, renewal, or extension of a contract with Broward County, vendors must resubmit this affidavit.
The Anti-Human Trafficking Affidavit is a mandatory compliance requirement for all vendors bidding on Broward County contracts and does not contain pricing information, set-asides, or funding details. This document functions as a prerequisite certification rather than a substantive contract component. The form is dated September 9, 2024, and applies to the open-end temporary personnel services contract supporting the County's public transportation operations, maintenance, information technology, planning, and paratransit functions. Vendors must submit all solicitation responses electronically through BPRO (Broward County's procurement platform) and are required to acknowledge receipt of their submission.
