About this file

This addendum document pertains to QBSP #6000003139 for refuse removal, disposal, and recycling services at LaGuardia Airport (LGA), issued by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The contract covers comprehensive waste management services including collection, removal, and disposal of refuse and recyclables at the airport facility. The addendum modifies specific terms and conditions of the original contract solicitation, establishing requirements for a two-year contract period with potential renewal options. Key dates and procedural requirements are outlined, including submission deadlines, site visit opportunities, and pre-bid meetings for interested vendors to review the scope of work and operational requirements at the airport location.

The pricing structure requires vendors to submit detailed cost proposals for refuse removal, disposal, and recycling services on both a regular and emergency basis. The contract involves set-asides and specific operational requirements tailored to airport operations, including frequency of service, equipment specifications, and environmental compliance standards. The addendum addresses modifications to the incumbent contractor's terms, current service environment at LaGuardia Airport, and funding sources through Port Authority revenues. Additional salient information includes specifications for service quality standards, insurance and bonding requirements, and operational protocols necessary to maintain continuous waste management services at a major metropolitan airport facility.
