About this file

This document provides procurement portal instructions for the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, regarding submission procedures for solicitation responses. All vendor questions must be submitted electronically through the Vendor Discussions section of the Bonfire procurement portal at https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com. Vendors are required to submit all responses electronically through the portal's opportunities section and must complete uploads, submissions, and finalization prior to each project's posted deadline. The City recommends allowing at least one week before the deadline to accommodate uploading time, particularly for large documents that may require extended transfer periods depending on file size and internet connection speed.

The Bonfire portal is accessible through Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox, with JavaScript and browser cookies enabled as technical requirements. For technical support, vendors should access Bonfire's help forum at https://vendorsupport.gobonfire.com/hc/en-us, contact the Bonfire support team at Support@GoBonfire.com, or call 1-800-354-8010. A five-minute vendor registration and submission training video is available to assist with the process. This procurement portal guidance applies to the City of Charlotte's solicitation for Investment Custodian and Trustee Services, which the Finance Department is seeking to support the City's investment management needs.
