About this file

This is a procurement portal instruction document issued by the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, outlining submission procedures for solicitation responses related to pavement marking materials. The City of Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) maintains approximately 690,000 linear feet of pavement markings annually throughout the city, including center lines, lane lines, edge lines, crosswalks, stop bars, and approximately 850 pavement arrows that provide guidance to motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians. All pavement marking materials must meet North Carolina Department of Transportation specifications. Vendors must submit all solicitation questions electronically through the Bonfire procurement portal at https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com via the Vendor Discussions section, and all submissions must be uploaded, submitted, and finalized prior to the posted project due date. The City recommends allowing at least one week prior to the deadline to complete the submission process.

No specific pricing terms, set-aside provisions, contract term details, or award timelines are provided in this instruction document.
