About this file

This document is a capital improvement plan attachment for Walworth County, Wisconsin, outlining proposed projects that will require engineering services over the next five years. The file lists fifteen specific capital improvement projects ranging from $100,000 to $1,000,000 in estimated costs, scheduled between 2026 and 2029, along with multiple building assessments. The projects encompass mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services and fire protection (FP) engineering across various county facilities, including campus sanitary and storm repairs, HVAC systems, boiler replacements, electrical distribution, fire protection systems, chiller installations, and generator replacements. These projects are designed to support the Master Services Agreement for On-Call specialty design professionals that Walworth County is procuring through RFQ #26-008 for engineering consultant services.

The document serves as a reference guide for potential respondents to understand the scope and scale of future work available through the on-call contract. Project costs are distributed across five fiscal years, with notable high-value projects including a $1,000,000 electrical distribution project and a $750,000 boiler replacement. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, or funding source information is provided in this attachment, as it functions primarily as a planning document to illustrate anticipated project demands and help prospective engineering firms assess their capacity and qualifications to serve the county's infrastructure needs.
