About this file

This document is a Q&A document for an RFQ (Request for Quotes) issued by the Nevada Department of Administration's Nevada State Library Archives and Public Records (NSLAPR) Division for a statewide Nevada library database. The RFQ seeks proposals from qualified vendors to provide an online full-text and graphical multidisciplinary electronic database. The RFQ includes requirements around customer support, search and interface functionality, linking technology, social networking features, and compliance with Nevada Academic Content Standards, Nevada Prekindergarten Standards, and Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) General Education requirements. Vendors are asked to provide pricing for statewide access as well as itemized pricing for academic, public, and K-12 school libraries. No trial site is required as part of the solicitation.

Regarding pricing, the state will evaluate all vendor bids and pricing options for the individual groups against the posted evaluation rubric. The state is not intending to implement an administrative fee as part of this contract. The state prefers statewide resources but will consider all vendor bids. The contract term and any renewal options are not specified in the provided documentation.
