About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) document issued by the State of Washington regarding household appliances. The state is seeking vendor input to develop specifications for a new statewide contract to replace the current contract 06319 Household Appliances, which is set to expire on January 31, 2026. No pre-bid conference is planned for this RFI process.

The RFI appears to be a preliminary market research effort to gather information from potential vendors about household appliance offerings, capabilities, and market trends. By soliciting detailed input from the vendor community, the state aims to craft comprehensive and competitive contract specifications that meet government purchasing needs. The document suggests the state is preparing for a future competitive solicitation that will establish a new statewide contract for purchasing household appliances on an as-needed basis, though specific details about volume, pricing, or exact contract terms are not provided in the available information.
