About this file

This is an Addendum 1 document issued by Polk County, Florida on November 3, 2025, for ITB 022-TD-1226 regarding the procurement of custodial cleaning supplies to be delivered to the custodial services warehouse in Lakeland, Florida. The addendum addresses vendor questions received by the October 29, 2025 deadline and provides official clarifications on the solicitation requirements. Key clarifications include confirmation that the Janico 6006 microfiber cloth (item 13) previously approved during sampling will be accepted, that Purell Advanced Hand Sanitizer Gel in 1.5-liter size is acceptable as an alternate for the discontinued 2-liter version (item 2900671), that alternative colors such as yellow or white are acceptable for item 2900301 instead of orange, and that order frequency and quantities for items like gloves may vary based on current needs. The addendum confirms there is no Force Majeure clause in the contract and references the termination clause located in the General Terms and Conditions, Section 39.

Vendors offering alternative products not listed among approved brands must submit samples and supporting documentation by the bid submission deadline, as outlined in General Terms and Conditions Section 12 and Special Terms and Conditions Section P. The addendum clarifies that chemical dispensing systems must properly dilute concentrated products for items 81, 83, and 87 but does not specify minimum dwell time or pH requirements for chemical products. All products must perform as outlined in their respective item descriptions. The procurement also requires vendors to provide dispensing stations or systems for concentrated products requiring dilution. Estimated quantities are addressed in General Terms and Conditions Sections 9 and 17, and previous bid information and awarded pricing can be found in the Special Terms and Conditions Section B regarding Previous Documents.
