About this file
This is an addendum to Invitation to Bid (ITB) 021-DW-0126 for Network Equipment issued by the Florida school district on November 3, 2025. The addendum provides clarifications and official responses to vendor inquiries regarding specification equivalencies, bidding procedures, bonding requirements, and delivery timelines. The solicitation pertains to network equipment procurement contingent upon E-Rate approval of the district's funding request. The deadline for submitting questions was October 29, 2025, at 3:00 PM, and vendors may reference the Special Terms and Conditions, Section B for the anticipated schedule of events.
Key requirements clarified in the addendum include: equivalent substitutions are permitted for specified part numbers (such as J8177D-E and JL483B-C), vendors may submit multiple bid sheets offering all-Aruba equipment and alternative configurations provided alternates are equivalent, a 5% bid bond is required with submission, and a Performance and Payment Bond of $250,000 is mandatory and will not be waived. The county will not accept redlines or modifications to the ITB documents. Delivery timelines will be determined on a case-by-case basis through mutual agreement between the district and awarded vendor, rather than adhering to a fixed definition of "reasonable time." No modifications or waivers to bonding requirements will be granted regardless of the bid scope.
