About this file

This document is a Statement of Work for a service anniversary lapel pins contract issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Corrections (DOC). The DOC requires custom lapel pins for service anniversary recognitions under a one-year contract with four one-year renewal options. An immediate need of 9,600 pins across various service year milestones is required within 6-8 weeks, with additional pins ordered as needed over the life of the contract. The pins must adhere to specific design requirements, including the DOC logo, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania branding, and designated service year banners. The awarded supplier is responsible for providing the pins and acrylic presentation boxes, with delivery to the DOC's central location and individual facilities statewide.

This is a low-cost bid, and the award will be based on the lowest bid price. The initial bid price for the immediate pin order must match the first year's contract price, which must remain firm for the first year. Price adjustments can only be made at the time of renewal, with supporting documentation. The DOC reserves the right to request other specialty pins at a negotiated price as needed during the contract period.
