About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details the requirements for the Iowa National Guard's 2025 State Child & Youth Symposium, a 7-day residential camp for Iowa Army National Guard dependents. The primary objective is to help youth develop life skills and resilience through structured activities, with a maximum of 85 participants expected.
Key requirements include providing a residential camp setting within Iowa between July 20 and August 9, 2025, with comprehensive services such as lodging, meals, medical staffing, and diverse activities. The contractor must ensure an adult-to-youth ratio of 1:6, conduct background checks on all staff, follow CDC COVID-19 guidelines, and provide a variety of age-appropriate activities including archery, arts and crafts, challenge courses, sports, and team-building exercises. The camp will charge a non-refundable $35 registration fee per youth, and the contractor is responsible for managing registrations, creating agendas, and maintaining required documentation throughout the event.
