About this file
This document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB #6100062949) from the Pennsylvania State Police Department for lawn care maintenance services at the Troop F Lamar Station located in Mill Hall, PA. The contract requires a contractor to provide monthly lawn care services, including 4 mowings per month from April onward, with weekly cutting on a mutually agreed day. The scope includes weed whacking around walkways, parking lots, buildings, signs, and impound lot, as well as shrubbery trimming in May, June, and September. The initial contract term allows for four one-year optional renewals, with services to commence upon receipt of a valid purchase order.
The bid specifications outline detailed service requirements, including weed control treatments monthly during the cutting season, with flexibility for the Station Commander to adjust service frequency based on weather conditions. The contractor must supply all necessary equipment, remove all clippings and debris, and take special care to avoid grass clippings on vehicles. The Commonwealth will only pay for services actually rendered and has no minimum work obligation. Vendors are required to visit the site and assess conditions before bidding, with the service location specified as Pennsylvania State Police Troop F, Lamar Station at 113 Boyd Road, Mill Hall, PA 17751.
