About this file
This is a lawn care maintenance specifications document issued by the Pennsylvania State Police Department for Troop B - Waynesburg Station under IFB #6100064871. The contract requires bidders to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials for monthly lawn care maintenance at the specified station location. Services include weekly mowing beginning in April with weed trimming around walkways, parking lots, and buildings; trimming and pruning of shrubs, bushes, trees, and landscaping in May, June, and September; monthly weed control during the cutting season involving spraying, trimming, and pulling weeds; and mulching of flower, shrub beds, and tree rings upon request by the Station Commander. The contract term is five years effective upon a valid purchase order. A mandatory signed site visit must be performed by the entity responsible for invoicing before submitting a bid, and if a subcontractor will be engaged, the visit must still be attended by the entity receiving direct payment from the Commonwealth. The service location is Pennsylvania State Police Troop B - Waynesburg Station at 255 Elm Drive, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
The Commonwealth will pay only for services rendered and has no obligation to require a minimum amount of work under this contract. Contractors must supply all necessary equipment and remove all clippings, trimmings, and debris from the premises, with particular attention to preventing cut grass from contacting State Police or personal vehicles. No equipment may be stored or parked on PSP properties when not in use. All subcontractors are held to the same standards as prime contractors. The Station Commander may designate services to be performed less frequently or more frequently than specified based on weather conditions such as drought that may affect grass growth.
