You are cordially invited to submit a bid for subject solicitation. Your bid shall include the following documents:

1. Page 2 of Standard Form 1442 (complete blocks 14 through 20) in hard copy Please DO NOT make any entries in Section B (Item 0001)!

5. A copy of your company’s registration or authorization to do business in Germany (see Standard Form 1442, Section L for more information) in hard copy

The U.S. Army is using the sealed bidding procedures to contract for this requirement, which means that

• There will be a public bid opening in the conference rooms at Building 542, Tower Barracks, 92655 Grafenwöhr at the announced bid opening time. All bids will then be read aloud. All interested persons may attend.

• There will be no discussions on the bids, and bidders will not be allowed to change their prices after the opening.

• Bids that fail to conform to the essential requirements of the solicitation will be rejected as nonresponsive, which means they will not be considered for award. Bids will also be rejected if they attempt to impose conditions that limit the bidder’s contractual liability or change the terms and conditions of this solicitation.

• An award will be made to the low bidder, whose bid conforms to the solicitation and who is determined by the contracting officer to be a responsible and responsive contractor.

Therefore you should be extra careful in preparing your bid; that you provide all information and certifications required in the solicitation; and that you submit your most favorable prices in your bid.

If you see any errors or deficiencies in the requirements, or have any questions regarding what is required, it is important that you contact the contracting office as soon as possible prior to the bid opening date. Once bids have been opened, the contracting officer cannot change the requirements, and must either proceed to make an award or cancel the solicitation.

If you have any questions regarding the subject solicitation please contact Mr. Matthew Boals, telephone: 09641-70-526-8719 or e-mail: matthew.s.boals.civ@army.mil.
