About this file

This is a Bid Form for the 2024/2025 Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) Project issued by the Town of Telluride, Colorado. The bid covers the installation of approximately 16,485 linear feet of sewer pipe rehabilitation using trenchless CIPP methods, with pipe diameters ranging from 6 to 21 inches. The project includes preconstruction CCTV inspection, cleaning, bypass pumping, pipe lining, service connection reconnections, and traffic control. The base bid includes 16,485 linear feet of pipe rehabilitation across various pipe sizes, 150 service connection reconnections, and 40 protruding tap trimmings. An add alternate bid item includes lateral liners for 12-inch and smaller, and 18-inch and larger pipes.

The bid form allows for flexible quantity adjustments, with the Town reserving the right to alter bid quantities by -30% to +30% while maintaining the same unit costs. The project includes a $200,000 line item for contract revisions. Bidders are required to submit a Statement of Qualifications demonstrating product and installer acceptability, including installation references of similar projects with client contact information, pipe diameter, footage, and lessons learned. The bid emphasizes the need for careful site examination, compliance with local conditions and regulations, and understanding of the project's specific requirements, including limited access to the Valley Floor conservation easement based on ground conditions.
