About this file
This document is a set of CADD Deliverables Guidelines for a federal contract opportunity. The guidelines outline the requirements for computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) data to be provided under Project #503-22-103, Replace Patient Lift Design, for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The key requirements include: using Autodesk Revit 2017 as the CADD software, delivering the CADD data on CD with a specific directory structure and file naming conventions, providing 3D intelligent object CADD drawings, using standard VA symbology and layering, and including hardcopy documentation such as file listings and full-size plots. All CADD files created for this project will be the property of the VA.
The related federal contract opportunity is for the selection of an Engineering Services (ES) firm to provide design services, specifications, drawings, cost estimates, and construction period services for replacing patient lifts at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center and 5 Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside contract under NAICS code 541330, with an expected construction value of $2,962,701 and a 180-day period of performance.

.ext = drawing extension (example: *.rvt)
File Name Example: 1-1-1-2018-Replace Security Camera System Plan.rvt
(Building number-first floor-number of drawing within series-year-drawing title.REVIT file)
