About this file
This document is a Special Provisions attachment for the OR18 McMinnville Spur: South Yamhill River Bridge Section Restoration Plan, issued by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). The project involves environmental restoration, including detailed specifications for seeding, planting, fence installation, and vegetation management over a five-year period. Key project elements include implementing specific native seed mixes, conducting precise weed control, establishing wildlife fencing, and maintaining plant materials through a comprehensive five-year plant establishment period.
The project includes strict environmental protection protocols, with specific requirements for herbicide application, plant material sourcing, and vegetation management. Contractors must submit detailed plans for contract growing, planting, and establishment, with partial payments structured across the project timeline. The restoration work includes precise elevation-based seeding strategies, wildlife fence installation and eventual removal, and rigorous monitoring with bi-annual inspections. Funding appears to be from state transportation infrastructure sources, with a focus on ecological restoration and habitat management along the South Yamhill River bridge section.
