About this file

This document is a Bid Cover Sheet for an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) for the procurement of a Storm Drain and Catch Basin Cleaner with Jet Rodder Truck. The ITB is a cooperative procurement open to Marion County, the City of Salem, and other eligible government agencies. The contract is for the provision of goods and services comparable to those described in the ITB, with bidders required to provide references for similar past contracts. Bidders must certify compliance with various legal and administrative requirements, and the contract term is for a minimum of 1 year.

The Bid Cover Sheet outlines pricing and preference terms, including a Buy Oregon Preference for goods and services fabricated or processed entirely in Oregon. Bidders must also disclose any conflicts of interest and certify compliance with various state laws and regulations. The contract has an anticipated value of $150,000 or more, so the selected bidder must have a written policy and practice of preventing sexual harassment, sexual assault, and discrimination against protected class employees.
