UNSPSC 73151605: Point of purchase display packaging services

UNSPSC 73151605 Point of purchase display packaging services (Commodity) shows minimal relevant recent activity under state and local procurement. The recent opportunities tagged to this code—irrigation system installation for a Florida park, election equipment transportation for Detroit, charter bus services for a Georgia school district, tourism collateral storage and fulfillment for a Florida convention bureau, and transportation planning consulting for a Georgia city—fall outside the scope of point-of-purchase display packaging services. The code nominally covers packaging materials and services used to display products at retail or event points of sale, yet none of the tagged solicitations involve packaging design, fabrication, assembly, or point-of-sale merchandising displays. The mismatch between the code's defined scope and the actual work being procured suggests either systematic tagging errors in the source data or that this particular code sees little genuine state and local procurement activity.

Without recent opportunities aligned to the actual commodity scope, no reliable characterization of issuing-body mix, geographic concentration, or representative procurement patterns is supported by the source. Business development professionals should verify whether state and local buyers in their target jurisdictions are soliciting display packaging services under a different UNSPSC code or through cooperative purchasing arrangements not reflected in these records.
