UNSPSC 55121507: Tea or coffee bag tag

Labelling tag for tea and coffee bags

UNSPSC 55121507 Tea or coffee bag tag is a Commodity code, but the recent state and local opportunities posted under it bear no relationship to tea or coffee bag tags. The source records show solicitations for watershed park development and operations (City of Pasadena), airport bag tags and thermal paper stock (Sacramento County Department of Airports), fire safety key secure systems (Marion County Fire Rescue), water department asset inspection tags (City of Tampa), and door hardware with key blanks and locksmith services (City of Dallas). None of these procurements align with the code's nominal scope. The code shows little relevant recent activity to state and local procurement.

The mismatch between the UNSPSC code name and the actual goods and services being solicited suggests either a cataloging error in the source data or systematic misclassification of unrelated opportunities under this code number. Business development professionals should verify the correct UNSPSC code alignment before committing resources to pursuit under this designation.
