UNSPSC 50386901: Brier rose hip purees

The variety of rose hips known as brier rose hips which have been pureed.

UNSPSC 50386901 Brier rose hip purees, a Commodity code, shows little relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The code's nominal scope—specialized fruit purees—does not align with the products actually being solicited under this code designation. Recent opportunities tagged to this code include canned applesauce, dried fruit bars, apple crisps, fresh produce, eggs, and broad food-service groceries for schools, prisons, state hospitals, and supported living centers. These commodities fall outside the brier rose hip puree category and suggest either miscoding of opportunities or a code that sees minimal authentic activity in the state and local market.

The available opportunities span school nutrition programs, correctional systems, and state health and human services agencies across Oregon, Texas, Georgia, Missouri, Connecticut, and Illinois, but none involve brier rose hip purees specifically. School districts dominate the issuing-body mix, with secondary activity from state corrections departments and state health commissions procuring broad food-service inventories on annual or multi-year contracts. Without solicitations that actually target brier rose hip purees or closely related specialty fruit products, the code presents limited visibility into genuine market demand or buyer behavior specific to this commodity.
