UNSPSC 46121500: Guided missiles

UNSPSC 46121500 Guided missiles is a Class code that does not align with recent state and local procurement activity under this classification. The sole recent opportunity tagged to this code is Columbus Consolidated Government Police Department's RFB No. 27-0010, posted September 16, 2026, which solicits a trade or credit transaction involving 306 used and confiscated firearms in exchange for Heckler & Koch MR556 A4 SBR 11" rifles with accessories. This firearms dealer swap is plainly unrelated to guided-missile procurement and represents a classification mismatch in the underlying source record. The bidder must hold a current Federal Firearm License and applicable state firearm dealer license; award goes to the highest responsive and responsible bidder offering the greatest purchase credit or swap value, subject to City Council approval.

The code shows little relevant recent activity. The Columbus Police Department opportunity, due October 14, 2026 at 2:30 PM ET, is the only record in the recent-opportunities block and does not reflect genuine state and local procurement under the guided-missiles taxonomy. Firearm inspections for the confiscated lot are available by appointment only on September 30, 2026 between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM; coordination is through Deputy Chief Ronnie Hastings at 706-225-4035. The successful bidder must complete transfer documentation and assume responsibility for all permits, taxes, and fees within ten calendar days of award, with five percent bid security required.
