UNSPSC 45121606: Camera harnesses

UNSPSC 45121606 Camera harnesses (Commodity) covers camera accessories and equipment bundles that state and local governments procure to support photography, documentation, and surveillance operations. Recent opportunities show state and local buyers requesting camera bodies, lenses, flash units, memory cards, protective cases, and ancillary gear as integrated purchasing packages rather than harnesses alone. The Texas Department of Insurance, City of Philadelphia, and Sourcewell cooperative purchasing vehicle have all solicited camera equipment in the past four months, indicating demand across state agencies, cities, and cooperative purchasing intermediaries serving counties and local entities.

Activity concentrates in Texas, Pennsylvania, and the Sourcewell network (anchored in Minnesota but serving participating jurisdictions across the United States and Canada). The Texas Department of Insurance issued IFB No. 454-26-34801-CM on July 24, 2026, requesting 20 Canon EOS R6 MK III camera kits with lenses, flash units, batteries, memory cards, and Pelican protective cases, with bids due August 7, 2026 and award anticipated by August 11, 2026. The City of Philadelphia Department of Procurement issued an RFQ for camera accessories under a two-year micro purchase requirements contract (June 24, 2026, closing June 30, 2026) with a maximum contract value of $43,000 annually adjusted by CPI-U. Sourcewell released RFP #061626 for Law Enforcement Equipment on May 12, 2026 (proposals due June 16, 2026), establishing a cooperative purchasing vehicle for camera and related law enforcement gear across participating county and municipal entities nationwide.
