UNSPSC 39131703: Cable ladder

UNSPSC 39131703 Cable ladder is a Commodity code that captures cable management and support hardware — specifically metal or composite ladder-style trays, racks, and carriers used to route and support electrical wiring and data cabling in building infrastructure. State and local governments procure cable ladders for facility electrical upgrades, new construction, maintenance of existing power and communications systems, and equipment installation across school buildings, municipal offices, transit facilities, and county infrastructure. The issuing bodies posting under this code span school districts, municipal purchasing departments, and cooperative purchasing vehicles that aggregate demand across multiple jurisdictions. Solicitations typically bundle cable ladders with related electrical components, parts, and supplies rather than standing alone as discrete line items.

Recent activity under the code is sparse. Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas posted IFB 2026098 in June 2026 for electrical equipment, parts, supplies, rentals, repairs, and services with a response deadline of July 1, 2026; cable ladders would fall within the scope of electrical parts and supplies solicited under that notice. Sourcewell, a Minnesota cooperative purchasing vehicle, posted RFP 061626 in May 2026 for law enforcement equipment with a June 16, 2026 deadline, representing a multi-state cooperative structure serving Washington, Minnesota, and other jurisdictions, though law enforcement equipment does not align with cable ladder procurement. The source does not identify other recent opportunities under this Commodity code or characterize activity patterns across additional states or issuing bodies.
