UNSPSC 14121802: Polyethylene coated papers

UNSPSC 14121802 Polyethylene coated papers is a Commodity code covering specialty paper stock used in print operations, including coated substrates for commercial and institutional printing applications. State and local governments procure polyethylene-coated papers for print shop operations, direct mail, promotional materials, and internal documentation where water resistance, durability, or enhanced print quality is required. Issuing bodies under this code include state universities and higher-education institutions operating their own print facilities.

Valdosta State University, a Georgia state entity, issued an eRFQ (Solicitation Number 55100ERFQ0000016292026) on February 20, 2026, seeking qualified suppliers for print shop paper with a response deadline of March 19, 2026. The source shows limited recent activity under this code; the VSU opportunity represents the primary identified state and local solicitation in the recent record. Geographic activity is concentrated in Georgia based on available data. The procurement was conducted under Georgia's State Purchasing Act and invited all qualified suppliers to participate in a competitive evaluation process, with preliminary results and final awards to be announced following the response deadline and resolution of any contract protests.
